Our two guest bedrooms, along with the living room and TV room/gallery, are offered as a suite to one party at a time, whether you come alone or as part of a group of visitors. The business traveler or couple can choose the bedroom preferred, and the bath is truly private.
Only people traveling together will share the bath. Limited use of kitchen/dining facilities is allowed.
The hosts have their own quarters in the lower level and are always available for B&B guests.
BIT OF EDEN is a treasure trove of ideas for avid do-it-yourselfers. Bill, an artist as well as craftsman, has created many beautiful and inexpensive features found nowhere else. Bring your cameras, note pads and tape measures.
Marge is experienced at preparing delicious full country breakfasts which she will tailor to the dietary needs and wishes of each set of guests. She is also an avid gardener and has a deep interest in writing.
Of special interest to antique buffs and junkers are the numerous shops in the areas as well as two large antique malls, Connie's and Southside Antiques.
The immediate neighborhood is lovely for walking, offering both challenging hills and some fairly level stretches.
Don't expect a hot tub or jacuzzi at BIT OF EDEN.
Enjoy the simplicity of the 1920s.
The large living room is perfect for visiting or reading and the family room for viewing television.
And we now have a wireless internet on site for those who find that important.
The gentle sound of the fountain in our yard will relax you.
